I  believe the English fans were very generous, understanding and sympathetic to the course of John Terry's international football career at The Wembley Stadium on March 3 2010.John Terry got appreciative and supportive applause from the English fans, what more could he asked for during this very trying period of his professional career?

Folks, was the 3-1 defeat of the Egyptian pharaohs an indication of the strength of The English Team.Can we safely conclude that The English Team will triumph over  African teams at the FIFA 2010 world cup?It is risky and hasty to jump to this conclusion , given the fact that the Egyptians play the free flowing European football that the English players are used to.Okay, they will meet The Algerian Fox(es) that play similar football pattern as the Egyptians, but what if the English team have to come up against The Nigerian or The Camerounianor or The Ivorian team at the latter stages of the FIFA 2010 world cup?These are countries that play very physical football.I am sure they would play more tune up matches against the more aggressive and more physical African teams.

It is no longer news that The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has signed a five month contract with the Swede; Lars Lagerback to guide The Nigerian Super Eagles at the FIFA 2010 world cup.Largerback was unveiled at the Abuja National stadium in Nigeria on March 3, 2010 before the international friendly match between Nigeria and The Democratic Republic of Congo, that ended 5-2 in favour of the Eagles.The contract and the entire Nigerian world cup arrangement and preparations are silent on the likely role (if any) that The Former coach, Shuaibu Amodu, the man who qualified for the world cup,would be playing.Shuaibu Amodu was given an African Nations semi-final mandate which he met at the African Nations cup that took place in Angola in January 2010.If Amodu is left out of the 2010 FIFA world cup party in South Africa, it would be the second time he has qualified Nigeria for world cup, only to be shoved aside and left out of the main event.
